Course: BSc (Hons) Primary Education Studies (Accelerated)

Hi, I’m Katrina, a first-year Primary Education student, based at the Chelmsford campus. I’m a mature student and I live locally with my family, so I travel in for my lectures and seminars. As the campus is so close to the train station, this is easy to do.
This is the first year ARU have offered the accelerated option for the Primary Education Studies degree, which means we complete the degree in two years rather than three. This is great as it means I’ll hopefully be able to get trained and into the classroom a year earlier than planned! The faculty staff have been amazing so far, extremely supportive and the head of our course has planned our journey through the modules well, preparing us for teacher training.
