Our Power, Our Planet

At ARU we're proud to celebrate Earth Month, and this year’s theme: #OurPowerOurPlanet.

Celebrating Earth Month 2026

Earth Month is an annual event to inspire us to care for the well-being of people and the planet.

On this page, you can read about some of the ways in which we're embedding sustainability into everything we do, from achieving net-zero, to research and teaching to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

For our University community, there's information about free events happening in March and April – all focused on sustainability, creativity, and wellbeing.
