At ARU we're proud to celebrate Earth Month, and this year’s theme: #OurPowerOurPlanet.
Earth Month is an annual event to inspire us to care for the well-being of people and the planet.
On this page, you can read about some of the ways in which we're embedding sustainability into everything we do, from achieving net-zero, to research and teaching to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
For our University community, there's information about free events happening in March and April – all focused on sustainability, creativity, and wellbeing.
With three research themes – exploring sustainability and social justice; health and wellbeing; and equality and inclusion – we're producing real outcomes that impact real people locally, and globally.
Through our Masters degree in Sustainability, delivered in partnership with the renowned Eden Project, we encourage our students to explore – and address – key sustainability challenges.
Join us from 2-6 March for a week of free events celebrating sustainability at ARU. Get involved in wildlife surveying, gardening, book clubs, photo competitions and more.
