Paullando studied an MBA in Project Management at ARU. Since graduating, he has focused on sustainable construction and green design.

He has since established himself as a leader, previously serving as Vice President of Design, Construction, and Environmental Quality on the largest light rail transit project in North America. This groundbreaking initiative is remarkable for its scale but also for its innovative green track design, which significantly reduces the carbon footprint of public transportation.
In his role as Vice President, Paullando promoted sustainable development within the transit construction sector. His leadership on the light rail transit project exemplified his commitment to integrating environment-friendly practices into large-scale infrastructure. By prioritising reduced carbon footprints and innovative designs, he not only redefined public transportation but also set a standard for the industry to follow.
Paullando became Chief Quality Officer for Sound Transit in Seattle, where his work on the Floating Bridge Light Rail Design Project further cemented his reputation as a sustainability pioneer. The project, which links Seattle with its eastern suburbs across Lake Washington, is a major step toward reducing car dependency, easing congestion, and expanding access to clean mobility. Currently, Paullando is pursuing a second Masters degree at ARU, MSc Construction and Civil Engineering Management. By enhancing his skills, he aims to contribute to innovative construction practices that prioritise sustainability and community impact.
