ARU London’s Employability Service supports you by providing tailored guidance on CVs, cover letters, and interview skills specific to the finance and business sectors. The service also connects students with industry partners, helping them gain valuable work experience.
Common roles include financial manager and controller, financial analyst, chief financial officer (CFO), financial adviser, private wealth adviser, portfolio manager, fintech adviser, quantitative analyst, and retail and investment banker.

Undergraduate Major Project (Business and Financial Analysis)
A foundation year prepares you for the rest of your course, and focuses on general skills such as researching and referencing, numeracy and ICT, and communication. We'll also start to look at some more subject-specific topics.
Knowledge and understanding is assessed via several methods including a range of assignments. These assignments can be in a variety of forms from a written Management Report to an analysis of a company report, to a presentation that responds to an organisational issue which allows opportunities for you to partake in a practical experience which syntheses theory and practice.
Facilities
As a student at ARU London you'll have access to:
over 30 lecture theatres ranging in size from those that can accommodate up to 200 students in a theatre-style seating arrangement, to others that are perfect for highly interactive seminars
two interconnected buildings with libraries containing core texts, wider reading materials, printers, and computer labs. There are also multiple study pods and booths for group work or personal study.

Entry requirements
ARU London's standard offer is 96 UCAS tariff points from 3 A Levels, eg BCC.
Alternatively, ARU London asks for:
Irish Leaving Certificate: BBCCC.
Scottish Highers: BBCCC.
BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma: DMM in a business-related subject.
International Baccalaureate Diploma: 24 points.
All applicants are required to have at least 3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English and Maths.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.

We also welcome applications from mature individuals who can demonstrate appropriate, relevant work experience.

5 GCSEs at grade D, or grade 3, or above including English and maths and evidence of two years post-GCSE study at Level 3. If you have achieved at least grade E in one A level, or equivalent, you are exempt from the two-year post-GCSE study requirement, but you still must meet the GCSE requirements.

Scholarships
We offer a £1,000 Entry Scholarship to new applicants at ARU London who have achieved:
144 (AAA) UCAS points, if you are from the UK/EU.
A+ grade or a minimum of 80% or GPA 5.0 in your A-Levels or equivalent qualifications, if you are an international student.
This scholarship will be taken off your first year’s fees.
We also have a scholarship for our Top Achievers. For this, we host an annual celebration of students with the greatest results from foundation year, Year 1 and Year 2 of study. These students receive £2,000 off their tuition fees for the following academic year.
