Want to talk to someone?

Do you have a question that we haven't answered so far? Talk to our application experts. You can also ask our Student Ambassadors about life at ARU.

We're here Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm (please note we close at 3.30pm on the first and third Thursday of the month for staff training), and Friday 9am-4.30pm.

Here at ARU in Cambridge, we're home to a thriving community of students. Some are focused on creative writing and publishing, others on the social or cultural aspects of English. But they're all united by a love of language and communication.

During your studies, you'll gain the confidence and practical skills to pursue your ambitions. And you'll be able to learn, experiment and create in a supportive environment, with feedback from your fellow students, tutors, and visiting professionals.

Our research-active staff will support you all the way, sharing the knowledge and insights they've gained as published authors, editors and linguists.

If you join us as an undergraduate, our strong industry links will give you invaluable opportunities to improve your employability through work placements. There's also the opportunity to take an optional placement year as part of your degree.

All our students will be able build professional networks through events such as guest lectures, field trips, and writing masterclasses.
