Overview

Develop your specialist skills in caring for patients following burn injuries or plastic surgery. Learn about trauma and plastic, burns cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, as well as bariatric surgery. Enhance your ability to assess wounds, manage complications and support patient rehabilitation - at the same time expanding your career prospects.

Who should attend?

You'll be a registered professional with at least six months' post-registration experience and current experience in burns or plastic surgery.

Entry requirements

To join this course, you must:

  • have at least six months' post-registration and current experience in burns/plastic surgery
  • have arranged a placement in a suitable critical-care area
  • have access to clinical supervision.

If you don’t meet these entry requirements, you can take this module on a non-credited basis and will receive attendance certificates.
