Level 1 Certificate Seasonal Gardener (Level 1)

Introduction

Build your confidence in practical gardening by exploring the key tasks involved in caring for planted spaces.

This introductory course gives you the opportunity to develop hands-on skills in garden maintenance, planting, and propagation, while learning in a supportive environment with guidance from experienced tutors.

As you work through a variety of activities, you will begin to understand how to care for a garden area effectively and safely. The course is designed to give you a strong starting point for further study or moving into a voluntary role within a garden setting.

Hands-on learning

Study on our countryside campus and use facilities including:
