Late Applications Drop-In Event

Want to speak to us in person about your options? If you haven’t yet applied for 2026, visit us on Monday 24 August from 9.30am-5pm.

There’s no need to book, just turn up between 9.30am and 5pm.

If you decide to apply for a course, we'll need to see evidence of your GCSE results. Please bring a printed copy of your results with you. We will take a scanned copy of your results.

Yes, you can bring up to two guests with you.

Writtle is just two miles from the centre of Chelmsford, so getting here is easy.

From Chelmsford bus station (directly opposite the train station), you can catch a First Bus to Writtle village.

If you’re travelling by car, Writtle is just a 20-minute drive from the M25 and a 15-minute drive from the A12.

Yes, free parking is available. When you arrive at the Main Campus, please follow signs.

Accessible parking is also available; follow signs on arrival.

If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact [email protected]

This is a drop-in event, so you can arrive any time between 9.30am-5pm.

You can expect to be on campus for around one hour.

This might vary depending on how many course areas you're interested in and would like to ask us about.

Don't worry if you don’t have a printed copy of your results, during your visit you can email them to us. We'll print them out for you.

If you sat your GCSE exams some time ago and have misplaced your results, we'll still need to see evidence of them before we can enrol you on a course. You may need to contact your school or the exam board(s) to get a copy.

If you can’t make this event, you can still apply online.

Browse college courses and apply – the link you need is on individual course pages.

Make sure you submit evidence of your GCSE results when you complete the application form. (Alternatively, you can email them to [email protected] after submitting your application.)

After you apply, we'll arrange for a call with a course tutor to talk about your induction.
