Get the practical skills and knowledge you need to start a career in floristry, with our Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma at Writtle College.
This course is ideal if you’ve previously completed Level 2 study or have a wealth of experience in the floristry industry, and want to take your floristry skills to a new level, building on the technical skills learnt prior to coming on the Level 3.
You’ll study creative floral design methods and techniques, and learn to produce a range of designs including tied, wired, glued, and designs in different mediums. You’ll also focus on designs for different events, such as weddings and funerals.
You’ll have plenty of opportunity to get creative during practical sessions in our purpose-built floristry studios. Plus, while studying on Writtle College’s countryside campus, inspiration is never far away.

Our Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma covers all the skills you need to start a career in the floristry industry. You might work as a florist, senior florist or florist shop manager, or start your own business.
We're here Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm (please note we close at 3.30pm on the first and third Thursday of the month for staff training), and Friday 9am-4.30pm.
