Prof Chunhui Huo

Professor Chunhui Huo is Vice President of Liaoning University and a PhD Supervisor. He currently serves as a Co-Supervisor of the ARU China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Academic Visitor Programme and as Director of the Liaoning University–Anglia Ruskin University Academic Visitor Programme. He is also a Senior Academic Researcher at the Department of Land Economy, University of Cambridge.

His primary research interests include Strategic Management, Innovation Management, and Marketing. Professor Huo has achieved significant academic accomplishments and has published extensively in leading SSCI-, SCI-, and CSSCI-indexed journals. He has also led a number of high-level national and provincial research projects. Widely recognised for his high-quality academic research and interdisciplinary scholarship, he has long been committed to advancing innovation and entrepreneurship education, international academic collaboration, and global talent cultivation, particularly in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, sustainable development, and higher education internationalisation.

Dr Chang (Lily) He is an Academic Visitor at Anglia Ruskin University, Associate Professor and Master Supervisor at the School of Business, Shandong Jianzhu University, where she also serves as Deputy Head of the Department of Business Administration. She received her PhD in Management from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics and is currently conducting postdoctoral research at the Business School of Liaoning University. Supported by the China Scholarship Council (CSC), she is undertaking visiting research at Anglia Ruskin University in the UK. Her research interests include organizational strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and digital tourism.

Dr He has published extensively in leading academic journals, including Resources Policy, Frontiers in Psychology, Education and Information Technologies, and Tourism Tribune. Her work on AI, ICT, tourism, and sustainable development has been recognized as both an ESI Hot Paper and Highly Cited Paper. She has also authored monographs on customer-dominant logic and the digital performing arts ecosystem, including a publication funded by the National Publishing Fund of China. In addition, she has led and participated in several major research projects at provincial and national levels and has received awards for innovation and entrepreneurship education, supervising students to achieve outstanding results in national competitions.

Prof Dai Zhengli

Professor Dai Zhengli is an Academic Visitor at Anglia Ruskin University and a professor at Liaoning University. She received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English from Liaoning University and has been engaged in higher education teaching since 1995. She has taught a wide range of courses, including General English, English for Academic Purposes, and Advanced English, and has also served as an examiner for BEC, IELTS, and GESE examinations.

Her research focuses on foreign language education, cross-cultural communication, and Sino-foreign cooperative education. She has published more than 20 academic papers, authored 7 textbooks, and translated 2 books. She has received multiple provincial and university-level teaching achievement awards and has led or participated in over 30 teaching and research projects. In addition, she has guided students to numerous national and provincial competition awards and has been recognized with honors including Outstanding Undergraduate Teacher and Top Ten Teacher of Liaoning University.

Prof Shuang Wang

Shuang Wang is an Associate Professor at Liaoning University and currently serves as Coordinator of the Anglia Ruskin University–Liaoning University Academic Visitor Programme. She is currently pursuing her PhD at Anglia Ruskin University and has also been appointed as a Visiting Scholar at ARU.

Her primary research interests include Cross-Cultural Studies, Sustainable Development, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She has participated in a number of international academic exchange programmes and collaborative research initiatives between China and the United Kingdom, contributing to the development of global talent cultivation and academic cooperation platforms.

Prof Tieying Fan

Tieying Fan is an Associate Professor at the School of Foreign Languages, Liaoning University (Wusheng Campus). She obtained her Master’s degree in English Language and Literature from Liaoning University in 2006 and has been engaged in higher education teaching and research since then.

Her primary research interests include Business English Teaching, Cross-Cultural Communication, and English Education Innovation. She has participated in a number of advanced national teaching training programmes and has received awards for excellence in foreign language teaching and courseware design. Professor Fan has also contributed to several teaching reform and curriculum development projects, particularly in the areas of critical thinking cultivation and integrated Business English education.

Prof Xiao Chen

Xiao Chen is an Academic Visitor at Anglia Ruskin University and Associate Professor of English at Liaoning University. She earned her PhD in Economic History, MA in English Language and Literature, and BA in English (International Business) from Liaoning University. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on land policy, environmental governance, sustainable development, and English for Specific Purposes (ESP), with particular attention to the socioeconomic dimensions of land use and policy analysis. She also serves as Associate Editor of Language and Communication Quarterly.

Her teaching and research achievements have received broad recognition. Her course has been awarded Liaoning Provincial First-Class Course status, and she has chaired several provincial and university-level research projects. She has published extensively in CSSCI-indexed and other high-impact journals, authored a monograph on U.S. agricultural resource and environmental policy, and completed influential academic translations, including work reprinted in Xinhua Digest. Committed to innovative pedagogy, she integrates OBE and flipped classroom approaches into ESP teaching and has received multiple provincial and national awards for excellence in teaching and research.

Dr Xintong Li

Dr Xintong Li is a Visiting Postdoctoral Researcher at Anglia Ruskin University from October 2025 to October 2026. She is a Lecturer and postgraduate supervisor at Shenyang Normal University. Dr Li received her Bachelor’s degree in International Economics and Trade from Dalian University of Technology, and both her Master’s degree in Finance and PhD in National Economics from Liaoning University. Her research focuses on regional economics, industrial agglomeration, and green economic development, particularly the relationship between regional development and sustainable economic transformation.

Dr Li has published several SSCI-indexed papers in economics, authored an academic monograph, and participated in collaborative research projects with universities and enterprises. At Anglia Ruskin University, she is based at the Anglia Ruskin Enterprise Academy under the supervision of Professor Weimin Li, where she continues her research on regional development, agglomeration mechanisms, and green economic transition, while promoting international collaboration in enterprise, innovation, and sustainability studies.

Prof Yang Xiao

Yang Xiao is an Associate Professor and Doctor of Management at the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Liaoning University, where she serves as Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Teaching and Research Office.

Her research and teaching focus on innovation and entrepreneurship education. She is the Lead Person of the first Micro-major in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Management at Liaoning University and has led a number of national, provincial, and university-level teaching and research projects. Professor Xiao has published widely in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship and has received multiple awards for teaching excellence and educational innovation. She has also guided students to achieve outstanding results in national and provincial innovation and entrepreneurship competitions.
