#ThinkBigARU pitching competition

We are delighted to announce a new pitching competition, #ThinkBigARU. We are now on the lookout for student and graduate entrepreneurs who have a business idea and want to take it further.

This is a fantastic opportunity open to all students and recent graduates (up to three years) who have a start-up idea to gain experience pitching to real business people and potential investors.

All entrants who get to the pitching stage of the competition, even if they are ultimately unsuccessful in securing funding, will be eligible for an exclusive package. You will receive:

  • access to a dedicated co-working space on ARU's Cambridge campus to accelerate your business idea for six months
  • tailored mentoring and guidance for your business through our Entrepreneurs in Residence and expert panels
  • access to an exclusive network of entrepreneurs across the UK, facilitating invaluable connections and collaborations
  • a one-on-one appointment with a legal advisor to navigate the legal aspects of your venture
  • membership of the ARU Entrepreneurs' Community – a vibrant ecosystem of like-minded individuals
  • the possibility of appearing in Inside AREA magazine and on the ARU Start-up Podcast, providing a platform to showcase your venture.

The pitching competition will take place on our Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough campuses.
