On foot

ARU Peterborough is very central, about eight minutes' walk from Peterborough Cathedral.

Cycling

Peterborough is easy to get around by bike. It’s flat and has an extensive network of over 200km of cycle paths. There are 11 named and numbered routes surrounded by a 45-mile Green Wheel route which circles the city.

Bus

The main bus station is adjacent to Queensgate shopping centre, and just a short walk from Peterborough rail station and the city centre.

From Queensgate bus station (Peterborough city centre) several Citi buses head towards the Embankment area and make a stop on Bishop's Road.

Train

Peterborough is about 50 minutes by train from London King's Cross. It also sits on the main East Coast mainline, and is served by London North East Railway (LNER) trains. As well as London, there are regular services north to cities such as Leeds, York, Newcastle and Edinburgh.

Car

There are fast road connections via the A1(M) for north-south journeys and the A14 and A47 east-west routes.

There's limited car parking on-site, so if you're travelling by car we suggest using one of the following car parks:
