Relevance of Doctoral Research in Architecture

Welcome to ArchiDOCT's first Architecture Research Conference held at ARU Cambridge

Relevance of Doctoral Research in Architecture

We are excited to announce our first ever Relevance of Doctoral research in Architecture conference.

Tickets are available through our online store.

This conference is intended for early career researchers, doctoral students, supervisors, and young academics, and is hosted by ArchiDOCT - our international journal on doctoral and early-career research, and ARU's Architecture and Planning team.

This conference will be hosted at ARU Cambridge, as well as online, from 3rd - 5th July 2023.

The call for papers is now open and more information on the submission process can be found here on our conference website.

Papers selected for presentation, either in-person or online, will be published in a special edition of the ArchiDoct Journal.

Your presentations will be vehicles for a contemplation on the contemporary understanding of relevance as a creative amalgamation of architectural ethics, socio-cultural policy values, technical development, and reasonable aspiration on newness.

During your stay, the academically and architecturally inspiring atmosphere of Cambridge, combined with the social events during and beyond the conference, constitute an ideal forum for exchange of experience in conducting doctoral research in/on/for/around architecture.
