Summer Offer Holder Experience
Summer Offer Holder Experience programmes are back, and we’re excited to welcome you to campus this June 2026.
These free on campus events are taking place across Chelmsford, Writtle, Cambridge and Peterborough and are designed especially for students who have confirmed their offer at ARU. They offer a relaxed and welcoming way to explore university life and take the next step towards starting your studies in September.
Each Summer Offer Holder Experience Day gives you the opportunity to begin feeling part of the ARU community before term starts. You’ll be able to connect with other Offer Holders, meet current students, and get to know the teams who will support you throughout your time at university.
Across the day, you can:
- Spend time on campus and explore key spaces
- Meet fellow future students and start building friendships
- Hear first hand from current ARU students about university life
- Learn about student support, wellbeing and services available to you
- Ask questions and gain practical insights to help you feel confident and prepared
These events are designed to help you feel comfortable, supported, and ready for your transition to university – whether you’re feeling excited, nervous, or a bit of both.

- Cambridge – 23 June
- Peterborough – 24 June
- Chelmsford – 25 June
- Writtle – 26 June
Each event includes sessions led by current students and ARU Student Support and Services, alongside opportunities to explore campus with fellow Offer Holders and ARU’s friendly staff and student team.
Virtual Session – 25 June
A virtual Summer Offer Holder Experience session is also available for students who are unable to attend in person.
