Tom is an Associate Literature in Music Business at ARU. He has worked in the music industry for over 20 years leading the global marketing and promotional campaigns for some of the biggest artists in the world at both major and independent labels. He currently runs his own artist management and music industry consultancy.

Background

Since attending the BRIT School of Performing Arts (alumni include Adele and Amy Winehouse), Tom got his first job in the music industry in radio and TV promotions working with bands such as Bloc Party, Bright Eyes, Maximo Park, and The Darkness among many others.

He then joined EMI/Universal and rose to the position of Senior Director, Global Marketing, and led the global marketing and promotion campaigns for a diverse range of artists including Sam Smith, Disclosure, Emeli Sande, Robbie Williams, Andrea Bocelli, Max Richter, John Williams, Joe Hishaishi, John Coltrane, among many others.

Tom then set up his own artist management and music consultancy, where he has since helped support and guide artists with a combined total of over 1 billion streams.
