Theresa is a registered community midwife, specialising in low-risk, women-centred care and homebirths, and a qualified NIPE practitioner and mentor for student midwives.

Background

Currently working for a small midwifery team, dealing with all aspects of midwifery including home deliveries, Theresa has previously worked as an hourly paid lecturer for us in Chelmsford and Cambridge. She's now on secondment in Chelmsford, working two days clinical and two days lecturing with our midwifery team.

Theresa is also undertaking a Masters in advanced midwifery, and conducting primary research for her postgraduate major project.
