Shawkat is currently Lecturer in School of Business and Law. Shawkat has research interest in Supply Chain Modelling, Behaviour modelling using Agent based systems, Sustainable SCM and Returns Management. Shawkat was a Erasmus Mundus Fellow under ELink and Clink program under EU and worked in the University of Lumiere Lyon2, Lyon, France as visiting Faculty.

Background

Worked as a Lecturer and was part of the startup team behind United International University in Bangladesh. Shawkat worked as a SC academic and developed BSc and MSc courses in SCM and EBusiness in UIU. Since joining ARU, Shawkat has helped develop courses and training related to Supply Chain Management.
