Sarah Cronin
Sarah is an experienced primary school teacher with a wide range of leadership experience across schools and within a Multi Academy Trust. Sarah is now working as a Senior Lecturer Practitioner at ARU alongside teaching at a local primary school.

With over 22 years’ experience as a primary teacher, Sarah has also been a member of senior leadership teams in a range of schools across Essex and Southend. As a Senior Leader of Education for Early Years, she developed her mentoring and coaching skills and supported teachers by leading staff professional development and supporting them with the classroom environment, lesson planning, delivery and assessment. As well as supporting and coaching educators, Sarah has experience of mentoring Trainee and Early Career Teachers, supporting them to become successful practitioners.
Throughout her primary teaching career, Sarah has been a subject leader in Early Reading and Phonics, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, History, Art, Music and Outdoor Learning. Most recently, Sarah has worked as an Assistant Principal responsible for Early Years and developing teaching, learning and quality assurance across the school.
Sarah has a particular interest in Outdoor Learning (including Forest Schools) and early childhood development, passionately promoting play-based learning and rich sensory environments to boost children's well-being and engagement.
