Dr Saleh Almogrbe holds a PhD titled "Reconstruction of the Built Environment in Post-Conflict Contexts" from the Department of Architecture, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He has a background in engineering surveying and over a decade of teaching experience in modern and traditional surveying instruments.

From 2007 to 2018, Dr Saleh Almogrbe served as a faculty member at the Higher Institute of Engineering Professions in Benghazi, Libya, focusing on surveying and engineering surveying equipment. He completed his MSc in Civil Engineering and Environmental Management at the University of South Wales in 2017, where his dissertation titled "Environmental Effects of Rapid Urban Expansion in Benghazi City, Libya" provided a strong foundation in environmental considerations in urban development.
Dr Almogrbe holds a PhD from the Department of Architecture at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, with a thesis titled "Reconstruction of the Built Environment in Post-Conflict Contexts." His doctoral research focused on the challenges and strategies of rebuilding war-affected cities, with case studies including Benghazi, Beirut, and Mostar, and included fieldwork with residents and stakeholders in Benghazi.
In 2022, he joined England’s National College for Nuclear as an Associate Lecturer, and in 2023, he became an academic staff member in the School of Engineering and the Built Environment at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU).
