Nigel is a specialist in computer programming technologies with particular interest in Software Engineering and Data Analysis. Nigel holds a Post Graduate Certificate Education from Anglia Ruskin University and holds QTLS - Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status.

Background

Following the completion of his degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Hull in 1984, Nigel worked in industry as a software engineer in the Oil & Gas Exploration and Business Intelligence sectors.

In 2004 Nigel then moved into the education sector spending time acquiring experience delivering Higher Education courses, managing and delivering a wide range of computer science related topics, such as Software Engineering; Mathematics; Networking; Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing for universities including The Open University, Sunderland University and Anglia Ruskin University. Also working closely with Anglian Water to instigate a higher apprenticeship in Data Analysis.
