Monika is a researcher working on her PhD at the Vision and Eye Research Institute, investigating visual short-term memory as a screening tool to detect early cognitive decline. Her Vice Chancellor funded PhD is supervised by Prof Shahina Pardhan, Dr Raju Sapkota and Dr Ian Van der Linde.

Background

After finishing an undergraduate course in Psychology, Monika completed an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuropsychology with a distinction. She also has a degree in International Business Economics. Her research interest lies in cognitive decline, memory and executive functions.
