Marc is a HCPC registered paramedic, as a Lecturer Practitioner he brings with him experience from a variety of clinical roles including NHS, sports medicine and the military.

Background

Marc joined Anglia Ruskin University in November 2022 as a Lecturer Practitioner. The dual role of academic practitioner allows Marc to bring a wealth of practical experience and knowledge within his respective disciplines which helps to enhance learners’ experiences and through knowledge exchange supports curricula development.

Marc maintains a high level of clinical practice alongside his academic role here at ARU in the following areas:

  • Paramedic Educator for the East of England Ambulance Service Trust
  • Pitch Paramedic – Rugby football Union (Twickenham)
  • Combat Medical technician (Paramedic) – Royal Army Medical Corps

Marc is the lead for the Level 5 module on the paramedic management and assessment of traumatic injuries which includes a focus on human factors within pre-hospital critical and emergency car.
