Louise has extensive experience of school leadership, having spent the last few years working in School Improvement with headteachers, senior leaders and teachers. Her work has included curriculum design and implementation, working alongside teachers in the classroom, teaching children, and providing extensive CPD and training.

Background

Louise has taught in every year group across Key Stage 2. She has also taught at Key Stage 3, where for two years she was Head of Year 7 and Transition in a secondary school.

Having been a Deputy Head Teacher, Lead Practitioner, Advanced Skills Teacher and Specialist Leader of Education, Louise has a range of experiences in education settings which she brings with her to Anglia Ruskin University.

Louise’s research interests have formed as a direct result of her experiences in schools and prior research she has carried out.
