Background

Since her PhD studies, Leila has focused on interdisciplinary research at the frontier of biology, optics and computer science. Following PDRA experiences at IB-ENS, Paris and CGM, Gif-sur-Yvette, she relocated to Cambridge in 2014, joining the Cambridge Advanced Imaging Centre (University of Cambridge).

From September 2023, she is a Senior Lecturer in ARU's School of Computing and Information Science and member of our Biomedical Informatics Research Group and Computing, Informatics and Applications Research Group.

Leila led several projects in the field of bioimage informatics and is interested in all aspects of research software engineering.
