Background

Lana joined ARU in 2023 during an exciting period of growth, as the canine team moved into the newly renovated Turner Building, enhancing their specialist facilities.

Alongside her lecturing role, Lana runs her own practice – Recharge Veterinary Physiotherapy – providing physiotherapy treatment across Essex and Hertfordshire. She specialises in rehabilitation and fitness for working and high-energy breeds, as well as supporting nervous and rescue dogs.

Lana's career in canine care began in boarding and daycare, followed by a role as a veterinary care assistant. She later established the first in-house physiotherapy clinic at that practice, before moving on to work as a physiotherapist and hydrotherapist at Ipswich Veterinary Centre, a large referral hospital in Suffolk.
