Kerry is an experienced primary teacher with expertise from the Early Years Foundation Stage to Year 6, alongside leadership and curriculum development roles. Passionate about making learning engaging and purposeful, Kerry joined ARU Peterborough in 2022 as a Lecturer Practitioner and has progressed to Course Director for the BA (Hons) Primary Education Studies course.

Background

In addition to classroom practice, Kerry has held leadership roles as a member of the School Improvement Team and as a Teaching and Learning Coach. These positions involved designing, reviewing, and adapting curricula informed by leading educational research, as well as monitoring teaching quality and providing professional coaching for teachers and support staff. To remain current in the field, Kerry collaborates with several primary schools in the Peterborough area and also serves as a school governor.
