Background

In her time away from the University, Katie expanded her Veterinary experience by working in a variety of different Vet practices, both first-opinion general practice and emergency out-of-hours. This invaluable experience allows Katie to further understand the Vet-client-physiotherapist relationship and share this knowledge with our students.

Katie rejoined the University initially as a Demonstrator in Veterinary Physiotherapy prior to progressing to the Lecturing role, discovering more of a passion for teaching. Within this role, Katie now hopes to pursue a teaching qualification and then further explore research opportunities in the future.
