Karl is an experienced Senior Lecturer Practitioner in Accounting and Finance at ARU Peterborough. Karl has over 10 years’ experience of delivering a range of accountancy qualifications specialising in Management Accounting, Financial Management and Strategic Business Management. Karl holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning with the University of Manchester.

Background

Karl has joined ARU Peterborough from Kaplan Financial having delivered a range of accountancy qualifications including AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA and CIPFA. Karl has strong contacts across the accountancy profession with local firms across the South East and links with a number of accountancy institutes.

Karl is an ICAEW Fellow, having qualified as Chartered Accountant in 2010. Karl began his accountancy career with KPMG in 2005 working in Public Sector Audit across Local Government NHS, Housing and Education clients.

Outside of academia Karl is a keen cyclist as a member of Peterborough Cycling Club, British Cycling and Sustrans.
