Karen is an experienced cost manager who has spent 40 years working in industry, on both the contracting and client side on a variety of major projects. She is now module leader on several Level 5 and 6 quantity surveying modules at ARU, and Course Leader for quantity surveying apprenticeships.

Background

Having spent 25 years working as a senior cost manager for a major commercial developer in London, in November of 2021 Karen made the decision to take her career in a new direction, accepting a lecturing post at ARU.

Karen now teaches students on our BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and is Course Leader for all Quantity Surveying apprenticeship courses.
