Julie Teatheredge has a background in mental health nursing, mastered in psychoanalysis. She teaches research levels 6-8 and also teaches mentorship, child and adolescent mental health and pre-registration nursing.

Background

Julie worked as a mental health nurse in acute care for 15 years, working as a charge nurse for the last five years in the community. Initially employed part-time by Anglia Polytechnic University seconded from the Trust, she has worked as a full-time senior lecturer with the University since 2003.

Teaching

Julie is the current module leader (faculty) for the undergraduate major project. She teaches research, mentorship, many aspects of mental health, child and adolescent mental health including developmental issues, long term conditions, study skills, collaborative working, play therapy, the craft of caring and interpersonal skills.
