Janaina’s PhD Thesis is entitled ‘Registered Nurses’ recognition of burnout, recovery and resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom: A constructivist grounded theory study.
Research Design
This study will use a constructivist grounded theory approach. This approach assumes that meaning is created through shared experiences between the researcher and participants. It is suitable because it allows deep understanding of nurses’ personal stories and how they make sense of burnout, recovery, and resilience. The goal is to develop a theory based on nurses’ own words and experiences.
