Background

James was one of the first physician associates to train in the East of England, and upon qualification began work in a split post covering both acute medicine and general practice.

James has now focused on general practice, and has a passion for developing the Physician Associate student experience locally. James has worked as a Physician Associate Ambassador for Suffolk and north-east Essex since November 2020. This has involved writing policy documents for PAs, improving the PA student experience and advocating for the PA profession locally.

James has hosted a Physician Associate podcast since March 2021, covering topics about GMC regulation, the history of the profession, and interviews with PAs who work in various specialties.

James has a special interest in the education of Physician Associate students, and takes pride in supporting and building the profession locally.
