Grace is a Senior Lecturer Practitioner, specialising in clinical skills education for medical students. Background

Grace began her academic career at Anglia Ruskin University in 2019 as an Associate Lecturer before progressing to the Senior Lecturer Practitioner role with a more regular commitment. In this position, she teaches clinical skills to medical students and bridges academic training with real-world primary care. She maintains an active clinical portfolio as a salaried General Practitioner in Essex and runs a private lifestyle medicine practice in London. This dual role enables her to bring authentic, patient-focused perspectives into the classroom. A member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, Grace is committed to professional excellence and evidence-based practice. She holds a Diploma in Medical Education and is currently completing an MSc in the same field.

Grace’s passion for teaching began in 2015 and has since grown into a sustained commitment to developing effective learning tools and improving the training experience for future clinicians. As a Leadership Fellow with the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board, she contributes to strategic healthcare improvement and system-wide development. She has led multiple quality improvement projects and is actively generating research in the medical education space. Her work academic and clinical work focuses on enhancing training methods, supporting learner development, and improving clinical outcomes. Grace brings a thoughtful, innovative and learner centred approach to medical education, with a clear commitment to shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.
