Dr. Gamze Saglam, holds a PhD in Economics and International Business from ARU, currently works as a Lecturer in International Business Management within ARU's School of Economics, Finance, and Law. Her research expertise encompasses specialized areas including international trade, technology adoption, research and development (R&D) spillovers, externalities in innovation activities, applied economics and econometrics.

Dr. Gamze Saglam completed her PhD in Economics and International Business at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) in early 2023, with her research focusing on 'Trade-related R&D spillovers and trade flows: evidence from 29 OECD countries.' Her work illuminated the profound impact of Industry 4.0 technologies on exports through trade-related R&D spillovers, enriching her expertise and insights into global trade.
With a dedication to teaching, Gamze's diverse teaching experience across various educational levels allows her to effectively engage students, especially in complex subjects. Her talent lies in fostering dynamic discussions on real-world economic challenges and imparting practical skills in product development and entrepreneurship, all grounded in her holistic teaching philosophy. As a proficient quantitative researcher, she adeptly employs STATA software and advanced econometric modeling techniques for data analysis. Furthermore, Gamze extends her mentorship to master's and PhD students, emphasizing their academic growth and satisfaction while guiding them in bridging the gap between theory and practice, enabling them to excel holistically in the dynamic global business landscape.
