Falilat is a lecturer in quantity surveying, with experience in the construction industry and higher education. She has completed a Teaching Assistantship Preparation Program (TAPP) at University of Huddersfield and is currently taking the Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning at ARU.

- Background
Before joining ARU in 2023, Falilat worked as a quantity surveyor in a consultancy firm in Nigeria. She was also a lecturer in quantity surveying at the University of Lagos.
Falilat did her PhD research on BIM and construction claim management at the University of Huddersfield; during this time she also completed an internship with a dispute resolution firm in London.
Since joining ARU, Falilat has enriched her skills through CPD programmes designed to improve teaching and learning at our University.
