Dr Ewelina Rogozińska

Ewelina is an experienced researcher specialising in evidence synthesis (scoping reviews, umbrella reviews, systematic reviews with and without meta-analysis) and development of clinical practice guidelines. She led numerous high-quality evidence synthesis projects across various disease areas (women’s health, infectious disease, oncology), impacting national and international guidelines. Her work covers topics ranging from therapeutic, diagnostic, and epidemiological questions to studies addressing methodological challenges in evidence synthesis.

Ewelina's research interests revolve around conducting evidence synthesis, assessing evidence certainty, and using evidence in clinical practice guidelines.

Ewelina is particularly interested in how we can optimise evidence synthesis using aggregate data and advanced methods, such as meta-analysis using individual participant data (IPD). She mostly works with evidence from randomised controlled trials and issues associated with their synthesis; however, also interested in the secondary use of IPD from RCTs employing methods to draw causal inferences from observational data. Another strand of her research interest concerns issues in research practices and research integrity in evidence synthesis, as well as the use of evidence synthesis in the development of clinical practice guidelines.

Ewelina supervises MD, PhD, MSc and BSc students interested in women’s health research topics.
