Ellie is a Music Therapist specialising in neurorehabilitation. Alongside running her private practice, Ellie is a registered supervisor and offers consultancy for the development, implementation, management and auditing of music therapy services.

Background

After obtaining her undergraduate degree in Music from University of Chichester, Ellie first began her career in the music industry before training to be a Music Therapist at Roehampton University. After graduating, Ellie joined Chiltern Music Therapy where she worked in a wide range of medical, educational, care and community settings providing music therapy to individuals, families and groups, as well as working in management roles for the organisation.

After completing additional specialist training in Neurologic Music Therapy, Ellie undertook roles in NHS and private medical environments with children, adults and older adults living with neurodisability. Alongside this, she took a lecturing role with University of Derby delivering music therapy training to postgraduate students.
