PhD researcher

Diane is a highly experienced nurse partner with 44 years of service in the NHS, bringing extensive clinical and leadership insight to my work. Alongside her professional role, she is a committed healthcare researcher with a strong focus on qualitative methodologies and philosophical inquiry.

Background

Diane's doctoral research explores the lived experiences of female nurse partners in general practice in England, using interpretative phenomenological analysis to gain a deeper understanding of their roles, identities, and challenges. Through this work, she aims to inform, raise awareness, and promote the under-researched area of nurse partners within primary care and wider healthcare policy discussions.
