Research interests
  • The Montessori Method in the 21st Century
  • Early Childhood Development
  • Reflective practice and Observation
  • School Improvement
  • Professional Development and lifelong learning

Dawn is a keen advocate for school improvement through the lens of the Montessori Method. Every child deserves the best start in life and to receive an education that enables them to reach their own individual potential. In turn the children also deserve teachers and educators who are inspired to push for more for the children and their own lifelong learning. Because of this, Dawn’s current research interest places a reflective focus on Montessori’s Prepared Environment for educational transformation and behaviour change for both the child and the adult through a collaborative action research with early years educators.
