Ceola Reece

Ceola joined ARU Writtle in September 2019 as a Lecturer in Veterinary Physiotherapy, initially teaching on the Integrated Master’s in Veterinary Physiotherapy, and then the MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy. After moving to Bristol in 2022 she began lecturing in Veterinary Anatomy at the University of Bristol, while still teaching at ARU Writtle on the MSc programme.

Throughout her career she has developed her academic practice through a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice, Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Professions Education.

Alongside her academic career, Ceola has always maintained her clinical practice as a Veterinary Physiotherapist. She practised in Essex before moving to Bristol, where she established her current successful mobile veterinary physiotherapy practice. Ceola's clinical work spans rehabilitation and performance, with a particular interest in myofascial approaches to movement and function. She also provides online business and clinical mentorship to other veterinary physiotherapists, supporting their development in both clinical practice and their wider professional careers.

Podcasts and Training Session for Online Pet Health: gave several interactive training sessions and podcasts on topics such as how vet rehabbers can build confidence in themselves and their clinical skills, along with tips for overcoming imposter style feelings and creating digital products for alternative revenue streams.
