Carrie has extensive experience of curriculum design and development in health professions education, providing students with the opportunity to develop their skills in teaching and learning and progress their careers along this pathway. She has worked with both employers and professional bodies to ensure the course content meets the requirements for the industry in which her participants operate. As a teacher, Carrie values active learning and formative feedback developing her students as lifelong learners who are able to continue their professional development beyond the classroom.
As well as a strong background in facilitating learning in a wide range of topics relevant to health professions education, Carrie has also taught research methods up to doctorate level and specialises in teaching qualitative research techniques to those from biological sciences backgrounds.
