Angela joined ARU faculty in 2022 having worked in the NHS as a registered adult nurse in acute care settings and as a clinical educator supporting staff education needs.

Background

Angela is a registered adult nurse with a background of providing acute patient care in assessment units and emergency department settings with an NHS career of 20 years.

Prior to joining ARU, she was in the role of Clinical Educator in an emergency department, providing support to students and registered staff working within a challenging environment.

Angela has a passion for clinical skills and enjoys facilitating students to learn in a simulation environment in order to be the safe practitioners of the future. She is currently studying for a PG Cert in Learning and Teaching (Higher Education).

Angela is involved across pre-registration student teaching and is a personal tutor and clinical skills facilitator.
