Anatu is a senior lecturer in Business Management with over 15 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership across the UK and Africa. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She specialises in Business Management and International Business Management, with research interests in inclusive organisations, global trade and women empowerment, gender, resilience and sustainability in the Workplace, and inclusive pedagogy.

Background

Anatu started her academic career at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana. Before this, she was the knowledge management office at Training, Research and Networking for Development (TREND), where she oversaw all knowledge-related activities. She also consulted for WIPO/ARIPO on starting a Masters in Intellectual Property programme at KNUST.

Anatu teaches and supervises students across all levels. Anatu is the founder and editor of The Academic Woman Media and Chair of The Academic woman CIC and foundation. She serves on community and sector boards, including Life Beacon International and the Women’s Higher Education Network (WHEN). She is passionate about championing equity, inclusion, and women’s advancement as well as marginalised groups.
