Alexander is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with an interest in labour ward, early pregnancy and medical education.

Background

Alexander has been working as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Princess Alexandra Hospital since 2018 after completing his postgraduate training in the deanery. He is currently the lead consultant for the labour ward, as well as early pregnancy and ambulatory gynaecology.

He has an extensive background in medical education, having completed a postgraduate certificate, taught on the Physician Associate Masters, and held the post of RCOG college tutor within the department.

Since 2020 he has been the block lead for reproductive and sexual health within ARU's Medicine program and is passionate about developing this block to inspire the next generation of doctors to tackle the challenges of women‘s health in the 21st century.
