Trio of new Governors appointed to ARU Board

Michelle Lamprecht, Simon Lennard and Arvinder Mudhar take up positions

Three experienced industry leaders have been newly appointed to the Board of Governors of Anglia Ruskin University (ARU).

Dr Simon Lennard, Michelle Lamprecht and Arvinder Mudhar have joined the Board following an advertised recruitment process.

The Board of Governors provide independent governance oversight and strategic direction for ARU and act as critical friends, supporting and holding senior university decision makers to account.

Dr Simon Lennard is a life sciences leader with more than 25 years of experience across biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, innovation strategy and organisational leadership. He has held senior scientific, operational and portfolio leadership roles at Cambridge Antibody Technology, MedImmune and AstraZeneca, where he most recently served as Vice President, Global Portfolio & Project Management in BioPharmaceuticals Research and Development.

Michelle Lamprecht is Head of Corporate Affairs at Cambridge Innovation Capital, where she leads marketing and communications, sustainability and impact, and advises portfolio companies. A senior executive with over 25 years’ global experience, she is a recognised expert in corporate communications, brand and stakeholder engagement. Michelle is a Non-Executive Director at Form the Future and founder of the Marketing Leaders Network in Cambridge and East Anglia.

Arvinder Mudhar’s career has spanned senior digital and technology roles in London, New York, Mumbai, and Geneva, where he has executed complex digital transformation programmes across sectors including retail banking, insurance, wealth management, private banking, and investment banking. Central to his skills are effectively creating and implementing innovative strategies that reshape businesses to achieve their digital objectives.
