ARU library assistant stamps his mark with award
Ambrose is recognised after achieving highest performance on diploma course

A senior library assistant at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) has been recognised for exceptional academic achievement by global law firm A&O Shearman after achieving the highest marks on a professionally accredited postgraduate programme.
Ambrose Hall, who works at ARU's Cambridge campus, received the A&O Shearman Award after completing the Library and Information Management Postgraduate Diploma with the highest overall performance across the course.
Ambrose combined studying the programme online over the last two years with his role as a senior library assistant at ARU, where he supports library acquisitions, reading lists, electronic resource access, digitisation projects and interlibrary loans.
Delivered by Ulster University and accredited by the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP), the diploma qualification helps information and library specialists develop advanced professional knowledge and leadership skills.
