ARU experts are ready to help on results day
Academic and professional staff are available over the phone, online or in person
Dedicated staff from Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) will be available on results day for people making late decisions on whether to go to university, or what course to study in the Autumn.
More than 200 staff will be stationed in ARU’s Clearing centres at its campuses in Chelmsford, Cambridge and at ARU Peterborough, offering guidance and support for those who have received their A-Level, T-Level, BTEC or other vocational results, or who are simply making a late decision on what to study.
For those who wish to visit one of ARU’s campuses on results day, student ambassadors will be able to offer tours and talk about their experiences at ARU.
Clearing refers to the period from the start of July leading up to October when people can make late applications to courses that still have places available. Not all ARU courses are in Clearing, but those that are can be found at aru.ac.uk/Clearing
ARU has more than 190 courses available through Clearing this year across Cambridge, Chelmsford, Writtle and ARU Peterborough, from Biomedical Science to Adult Nursing, and Accounting and Finance. Among the most popular courses in Clearing so far have been Primary Education with QTS, Paramedic Science, Animal Management and Midwifery.
Clearing centres are open from 8am-7pm on Thursday, 13 August, and from 8.30am until 6pm on Friday, 14 August. Over the weekend of 15 and 16 August, lines will be open from 10am until 4pm.
