Times Higer Education rankings include Anglia Ruskin University for fourth year

Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) has once again been recognised as one of the top 350 global higher education institutions in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings,

There were significant improvements to its teaching scores, which scored 17% higher than last year, and research, which scored 12.5% higher.

Around 1,800 international institutions are analysed for the rankings, which are audited by PriceWaterhouseCoopers. ARU placed in the 301-350 category worldwide for the fourth successive year, and the top 50 of UK universities.

The rankings use 13 different performance indicators to measure each university’s teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.

Professor Roderick Watkins, Vice Chancellor of ARU, said:

“It is testament to the hard work of our staff that we have been included in these prestigious global rankings for the fourth successive year. I commend them all and thank them for their efforts.

“To be recognised on a global level for the quality of our education and research is very pleasing, and I am particularly delighted that all our scores reflect improvement over the past 12 months.”
