Clinical Academic Training
In the School of Medicine, Integrated Academic Training (IAT) is central to our research strategy at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
In partnership with our valued collaborators, we were proud to introduce Integrated Academic Training to Essex in 2024. This marked a significant milestone in our collective ambition to grow a thriving, sustainable culture of clinical research across the region.
At the heart of this initiative is a shared commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of our local population through academic excellence and innovation. Our goal is to cultivate a local healthcare workforce that is research-informed and research-active, ultimately improving healthcare outcomes for our community.
Clinical fellowships
