All conference proceedings will take place at ARU in Cambridge.

Gala dinner

The Gala Dinner will take place on Thursday 18 June 2026 (evening). Venue will be announced soon. Afro–Music would be the hallmark of the evening so come with your dancing shoes. The cost of the Gala Dinner is included in the registration fee. Due to room availability and demand, individuals are required to book their rooms early. International attendees are advised to book their accommodation before visa application.

Hotel rooms

• Clayton Hotel Cambridge – convenient for delegates arriving by train.
• Hilton Cambridge City Centre – centrally located, good for international delegates.
• University Arms Hotel – close to the colleges, slightly more premium option.
• Travelodge Cambridge Central - budget hotel and friendly service. Near the train station.

Travel

For travel, most delegates either arrive via Stansted Airport (direct train to Cambridge – 40 minutes) or London airports (Heathrow/Gatwick with train connections). Once in Cambridge, we recommend walking where possible or using taxis and buses for longer distances.
